About Shaw Auto Parts Shaw Auto Parts, Inc. was founded in 1919 as an auto repair facility. Robert E. Shaw operated 5 automotive enterprises during the 30s and 40s. The used parts business began in 1932. It became the area of focus and continues to be to this day. Robert L. Shaw came into the business in 1948. He was very successful and kept the business at the leading edge of the industry. Larry R. Shaw (third generation) came into the business in 1972 and purchased the operation in 1992. Shaws was one of the first yards in the U.S. to be computerized (1984) and continues to be progressive. Our professional sales staff will give you prompt, courteous service, utilizing our accurate, computerized inventory system. Our inventory consists of ten (10) years old and newer domestic and foreign parts. Our shipping department is second to none.
